THINGS THEY DON’T TELL YOU WHEN YOU ARE A DAPPER DRAGONESS WHO LOVES TO TYPE, READ, AND WRITE

  • Mechanical keyboards are superior to all other keyboards.
  • QWERTY is an alright keyboard structure, so long as you don’t have huge claws.
  • It is not advised to take over an IMAX theater just because the screen is ergonomic for you.
  • Getting griffin quills on this side of existence is harder than storing top secret documents in a bathroom.
  • Cosplayers make surprisingly good tailors and should honestly get paid more for their services.
  • Related to previous point: YELP reviews should allow for Dragons to post their reviews…
  • Large-Type books are deceptive … Publishers, please consider the needs of larger beings.
  • Using a large diamond to magnify human script is surprisely useful, so long as no treasure hunting mortals attempt to steal it.
  • Flame-resistant paper should have been invented by now, if not for us allergy-ridden dragons at least for the librarians who are kind enough to let us into their buildings.
  • The English tongue is and odd one…why is red, read, and read all pronounced differently?
  • Human romance is … strange … what does “ship” mean in turns of romance? Do humans now send betroved lovers to each other using aquatic vessels?
  • Horror is another genre I am only beginning to understand…Lovecraft must have been a master of the dark and unspeakable arts.
  • Cookbooks are not to scale… Note to self: for every cup, convert to tons.
  • Related to previous point: always cook outside … modern kitchens cannot hold a draconic loaf.
  • Cozy mysteries are inspiring. Such pleasure in the mundane mixed with macabre subjects.
  • Why are books regarding dragons labeled as fantasy? Some are historical, others are current events, and most are down-right tragedies.
  • On that note, SMAUG WAS NOT SOME VILLIAN!
  • Hobbits though, do make for brilliant tricksters.
  • There really are no ergonomic reading chairs for dragons.
  • Humans are, regardless of realm, still my favorite beings outside of dragon-kind.
